Tiffany Tenille

Tiffany Tenille

Tiffany Tenille is a filmmaker, actress, and visual storyteller drawn to beautiful worlds that are never only beautiful. Her work lives in the tension between beauty and chaos, constructing cinematic worlds that feel nostalgic, tactile, and timeless while inviting audiences beneath their polished surfaces to discover the complicated human lives that exist within them. Her directorial debut, Albion Rose, captures the coming-of-age journey of two sisters teetering on the brink of mental collapse. The film was awarded a post-production grant from The Future of Film Is Female, received the Cinema Femme Phenomenal Person in Film Award, and was hailed by RogerEbert.com as "utterly mesmerizing". It premiered at The Museum of Modern Art in New York. Originally from Chicago, Tenille holds a BFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University. In front of the lens, she delivered a breakout performance in Numa Perrier’s Jezebel, where her portrayal of the titular role drew critical acclaim during its world premiere at SXSW before its theatrical and Netflix release.
